Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium Sessions

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori approach to the religious formation of children. It was developed over the course of the past 60 years, beginning in Rome and spreading throughout the world. Liturgy and Scripture serve as the foundation of this work. The central figure is Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd - the image of the particular and protective love of Christ.

The heart of School of Mary is the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The atrium environment is specially prepared to meet the spiritual needs of the child. In being able to serve the whole child, it is important that our guides be able to observe the whole child; therefore, our guides will be the primary catechists for the children and every child will participate in the 2-hour atrium session as a part of their enrollment.
